Study of the long time relaxation of the weak ferroelectricity in PbZrO3 antiferroelectric thin film using Positive Up Negative Down and First Order Reversal Curves measurements

The weak ferroelectric contribution to the polarization of antiferroelectric lead zirconate (PZO) thin films has been investigated using PUND (Positive Up Negative Down) pulse measurements and hysterons decomposition by First Order Reversal Curves (FORC) technique. allows decomposing measured current, obtained from polarization-electric field loop measurements, into a switching non-switching contribution. We show that phase is enhanced when large electric previously applied material, in order switch phase. Using measurement at fields below transition, corresponding only determined revealing this overall small. FORC however, indicate present different fields. At low fields, quite homogeneous distribution exists field, high concentration near transition can be seen. Moreover, changing delay between pulses we ferroelectricity metastable decreases with time.
